So, Games Workshop newest White Dwarf was showcasing a lot of easy build kits. The thing is they are a big drop in price. The Aggressors I bought was about $50, the easy kit had them down to about $30. Take a peek, pretty good sign. Plus the issue featured all the specialist games even back to Space Hulk. Blood Bowl is getting a new elf team. This company has really corrected it's image and it's Privateer Press that's falling from popularity

Yeah, I saw those online. They are great if the weapon option you want is the one they come with.

Yeah, it's limited but in the wider sense it makes them more affordable and easier to get newer players in. It just shows the strength of a game company to cater to a new player and a veteran hobbyists. They are even getting the concept of game card references to make gaming easier.

You can see that they are finally waking up and realizing that they have to compete in the market, and that their stuff doesn't just automatically sell itself. If this trend continues it will just continue to benefit gaming overall.

Yar, for me the easy to build kits are great if you like the poses. Swapping weapons out is usually an easy conversion. And encouraing players to convert is a good thing in my mind. ^_^
