[Spectre Senence]

Thought I would share what I am up here with the community and maybe hear what other community members are working on. I still have Dreamers crew to finish assemble. Just three left and then I can work on how I am going to paint them. Lord Chompy Bits looks very cool being transparent. I also need to assemble my Knauf models from the Outrage book. Lucky for me their is a tutorial in our YouTube channel  .

However my primary focus is getting my Knight done for 40k 8th edition. He is such a beast with the new vehicle rules I am pretty excited to field him with my Deathwatch/ Grey Knights. Then I will need to get a hold of a Land Raider for my Deathwatch. Good old fun again with GW.

Well what started as a failed attempt to get my Ad Mech ready for our Shadow War campaign has turned into me finally painting my Ad Mech army for 8th edition. Got the first two units painted and almost got the Dominus done.

A bit of an update on my hobby progress. Dreamer & crew finished. I didn't get further on my knight yet because I ended up getting some major Infinty pieces for my Haqqislam. I have been wanting a Magahrabi guard for sometime and it was my father's day gift. I added a few more to make my Haqqislam pretty fierce so next report should be fun.
I also picked up some Relic Knights corsairs to use for Rogue Stars, Jeff says he has some too so maybe I will pick up Calico Kate to play. The game looked interesting and i did get a demo back at PAX once.
I am going to try and get that knight done next that should keep me from buying anything more

Took a break from my Ad Mech.  Now I just need to figure out some 8th Edition rules for them.

Well finished my Knight, you can see him in action in our latest Video. I also painted an entire game set for my son. Also completed the Death Guard and Poxwalkers from The First Strike set and pretty close on the Primaris.
Been pretty happy with my painting progress and now off to work on videos.

Oh I did rebase the rest of my Neverborn. They look very well uniform now.

Alright, so it seems I am back with a massive project. I have decided to do a Primaris Marine army. About 2000 points, I have always wanted to do an Imperial Fists force and the new models have made that want greater. So, I bought a copy of First Strike and painted the marines Imperial Fists and was happy with the look. So, I dove head long into it. Purchased a Dark Imperium as it gives me the most marines for the buck and built the list around that. I added a 10 man Reiver squad because they look awesome and a Repulsor tank because it looks great but is also a badass tank. I figured an Apothecary,  Librarian,  and a Redemptor Dreadnought gave me about 1700, so to stay themed of the Fists i will be looking to add 3 Predators. 
I will do the Death Guard after the Imperial Fists are complete but I am very excited to built this army. I liked the Deathwatch army I built but there is something about this project that has me feeling more desire to this project. I will try to get some pics up tomorrow so you guys can see the development.

I finished 90% of my Imperial Fist army. Just need to get an Apothecary for it. I also realized a squad of Aggressors fits nicely in the Repulsor so that is also on the planning stage.
I also seem to be acquiring another set of Death Guard so when I get them I start painting them. Ugh so many Poxwalkers 😋

I forgot to mention I got my GenCon Wyrd shipment and started painting the new Nekema and Cyclops. They are very nice models.
I also received the Beyond sets for Infinity and assembled the Haqqislam and exclusive figs. I gotta say these minis go together so much easier than older models. It was pretty nice to do.

Here is some of the stuff I am working on now.


  So thanks to Karg, you can see a double set of Death Guard from the Dark Imperium set I have assembles and laid some base paint on. I debated the color of the chaos marines and settled into the light green color after much waffling. On the left is some more Imperial Fists will be giving some more points to my 2000 point army. I stripped the paint off those scouts and found some wooded bases that they are now glued to. The Reivers are the three easy assemble but I converted them with grappling guns. The Aggressor, I am big to complete because I think they are going to be very good. There is two D&D zombies for Frostgrave and not pictured are some other D&D minis and Infinity that need assembling.


Here is my new character for Jeff's D&D game. Brom Togath! I ordered him from CMON as they have a great selection for your campaign games getting the right figure. I converted his weapon. He will be fighting with a big club because he is lazy about up keeping a real weapon and Chauntea will always provide him a large stick to hit enemies with. What do you think?

Well whew! I finally knocked out the Death Guard. So if anyone needs some support let me know to bring them. My D&D character was also finished. All I have left is the Nomads from the Beyond Ice Storm set and a Ariadna Kazak that I recently grabbed. 

I forgot to mention that I also completed my Dwarf team in that time too.

My plan now is to grab the Blood Bowl starter set and get the two teams ready for my boys. I will grab a Skaven team for the youngest later with likely a troll and ogre to fill out teams. Once they are done I can bring the set for anyone that wants to make a quick video of Blood Bowl. You just have to deal with choice of color and the way the roster is built. But for some of you it wont require you to spend any money 

After that It likely will be break from any new miniatures because I am expecting from CMON the two Kickstarter sets Massive Darkness & Black Plague. Which I hope will allow me to put up some content with regular consistency however that all depends on YouTube which seems to struggle with uploading lately.

Well damn, I was feeling pretty good after got the Death Guard complete. Then in about a week's time some Kickstarters just came in. When one of those is from CMON that means a whole lot of figs.
So from CMON I got my Massive Darkness game. Four expansion sets plus some 3d doors and pillars. I am very excited about this. So will be off to work on this.
I also got earlier my Battle Arena Show game and started painting those. So I will get them done and start the former. Whew, tons of painting and by Christmas I should see Mystic Battle Patheons. 😊

Well what's been going on with me. Christmas is right around the corner and work has been nuts. This week missed a lot of time because of Pink Eye of all things and that dug into some of my project work.
As I was ready to work on my Massive Darkness game another Kickstarter arrived soon after and it kicked my ass.
Tubular Design created a Promethian Rig. I went for it and it arrives pretty quick for a Kickstarter. Although the design is neat the instructions are very poor and has caused several issues. I have finished assembly and primed it silver but it took a week of that free time.
Blood Bowl has gone well and looking to expand my teams later next month. Then hopefully I can get that Massive Darkness set painted.
Again, hopefully I get more to the Studio soon.

I got my table set. The first of three big projects. The first here is Massive Darkness. There is three sets of large groups of monsters (goblins, orcs, and dwarves). A set about 12 heroes then some real fun with the random monsters. These models are really excellent. I am also challenged with a 3d set of treasure chests, doors, and pillars. 

I have a few other things I need to work on at the same time as well. I have the Aristia' models, a Elven Union Blood Bowl team, and my Goliaths have finally showed up.

Whew, a busy workload!
