I went to my other local FLGS store at was dishearten to see that they are dropping Malifaux. Pretty sad and surprised that people aren't playing. I did however pick up "Guilty as Charged" since they were discounted 60%. So now I have an Outcast master.

Do you not have a Henchman for the local store? If not that explains it. Problem is probably cheaper for most people to buy online these days for almost every miniatures game.

Interesting enough, I had that discussion with a friend recently. It baffles me why they just don't do 10% to 15% off a retail price. This directly competes with the online market and would have gamers buying. I also find that they struggle to actually work with players that can promote a game. Sure the Complex gives us Patreon support which I love, but they don't really utilize us with anything. I have discussed with both stores that my YouTube channel actually has some "How to Play" but they just don't comprehend the benefit it provides. Christ Game Stop has a advertise feed going when you enter their store, they just don't adapt.
The Henchman for CrossRoads is now over to the Complex, so I don't know why it lost it's interest.

It's a long story.but after literally years of trying to get people to play and even the slightest bit of effort on the stores part to recommend the game to people and, you know, sell a game at a game store, I gave up. I did everything. And i mean every play in the book to get new players. But it just was like trying to move a desert with my hands. All the players that were there playing minis didn't seem to realize that mali is a pick up game, perfect in addition to warmahordes and WH. So I went to a place where people actually do play now and again. If I can get people actually playing and having fun it will attract more people. But I agree, the stores seem to just be like "we don't care if you use our space" and not "how can we help each other grow the payer base"

Sounds like you tried but the store didn't want to put any effort into selling.
