Could be that the Dark Eldar codex might get a little more interested in 40k again. With plastics being added I have some new models to look at

Checking some of the pics being put out there. I laughed realizing that GW had to make new plastic models because Dark Eldar were almost all Finecast!

Rumors have me mixed with this Codex. Sounding rather average with only some cool things and a lot of bad. One thing for sure this will be another big change from previous book

So Matt and I checked out the new codex. A lot of units did get more useful. Only a few things lost things. Wyches suffering the worse. I havent seen the Haemonculus Coven yet which my army is more built to but the Power from Pain was better in that for wracks.
Overall I like the codex and can still play with these guys. Thankfully

So after $100 worth of rules got in my first game with Dark Eldar in 7th. Faced a Grey Knight army with Inquisition detachment. Gotta say love the Maelstorm mission cards. They really do make the game more enjoyable.
The game started good but the Grey Knights changed a lot. The armies with huge dice pools for psychic make for a hard game if the player rolls very good. This was the first time I ran into that. Second my list was quickly created again without a hard hitting allied affair of my own. Lessons learned and playing with Jeremy is always fun so good times.

Good to hear you had fun rather than the depression after bringing out the nids. With the Blood Angels getting a new codex in a couple weeks I'm looking forward to getting some games in with them. Maybe respark the old rivalry.
