Dang I thought I already had. Maybe I forgot to hit send, I was a bit scattered the week I came up with this. THE SCUTTLING OF SECTOR SIXTEEN, Season 2: A Warhammer 40,000 Campaign by Spectre Studios Scenario 5: Reinforcements Chaos and Xenos forces continue to turn Sector 16 into their charnel playground. The Tyranid swarms continue to devour all biomass within reach. The bedraggled forces of the Imperium are calling to any and all who can help. An encrypted transmission containing the coordinates for a Skyshield Landing Pad have been intercepted by several parties. Kill Teams must move to seize this structure so their side can get vital reinforcements in the coming battles. Format: Kill Team Setup: Place a Skyshield Landing Pad center table, Unfurled. Place 2 gun emplacements, one either side. Objectives: Control the Skyshield. The side with the most units on or with 3” of a support of the Skyshield controls it at the end of the game. This side receives 3VP. Control the Guns: Each Gun Emplacement is worth 1VP to the side that controls it at the end of the game. Destroy the Guns: Each Gun Emplacement is worth 1VP to the side that destroys it. Secondary Objectives: First Blood, Slay the Warlord Mission Special Rules: Night Fighting, Reserves, Sentinel Fire, Shields Up!, Foundation to Bedrock Sentinel Fire: The Gun Emplacements begin the game in Sentinel Fire mode. They will automatically shoot the nearest Non-Imperial Unit. In Sentinel Fire mode, Gun Emplacements have Split Fire and BS 3. Shields Up!: If a model is a member of the controlling side for the Sky Shield, it can switch the Skyshield mode. When in Shielded mode, the Invulnerable save is only conferred to models on the platform and only from shooting attacks originating off the platform. Foundation to Bedrock: The Skyshield is anchored to the very bones of the planet. It cannot be moved by any means.

Weather looks pretty good so far! I'll be there and we'll go as long as we can.
Actually just got word from the Warhammer store and they recommend postponing to next Sunday. I am still free then so that's what we'll do. Stay home and warm today folks! Benito can you update the calendar? This might actually work out better as it will be the day after their Birthday Bash.

Wow! What a great day! Thanks again John for putting this together and Justin hosting us at the store. We met a few new players and it looks like we got a new member to the forum in alpharius from our event. Welcome aboard! I hear chaos once again took the day, even with Jake acting like all is lost, his remaining team were quite the force being from Nurgle with a Toughness 6. Unfortunately my Deathwatch came in with brimstone and fire but went down to the Nurgle bikers as the champion of chaos was deadly with those lighting claws.
I hope to see others when the campaign continues, I got a few more figures to add to my force including a Chaplin to maybe help my lack of Close Combat. Great fun though and see everyone on the next event of Season 2!!!!!!
