Again from another thread, we were talking some TV Walking Dead and Jacob mentioned the latest graphic novel. So I got to reading it and damn with people getting their first introduction to Negan we in the comic world are seeing another later development of him. Stop here if you only watch the TV if you don't want to know more
So damn, the escape of Negan was so good. It was different on so many ways and his decisions he made was cool. I loved this graphic novel as it ended again in a way I wouldn't have thought of immediately. God Kirkman just nails this story everytime!!!

I'm finding myself more and more intrigued with the decisions on how the story changes from book to TV. I like the interviews with Kirkman when he explains some of the differences to see where his mind is at. I was curious on how the relationship between Machione and Ezekiel would play out with Machione sleeping with Rick... and now we know Carol will pick up that relationship.
Side note - I'm a HUUUGE fan of Jeffrey Dean Morgan as Negan!!!!

Yeah with this comic direction though Negan's relationship with the group is going to be very interesting. Plus another huge battle has to be on the way with the Whisperers looking to retaliate

Been awhile since I touched based with the comics and if you follow just the TV be aware of possible spoilers...
So I just read the latest graphic novel (I don't get the regular comics) and we see the full scale war with the Whisperers. I wanted to post this because of what they are doing with Megan. He is simply becoming my favorite character. He has such a great dimension about him that really keeps you reading for more. That makes me so excited to get more down the road for the show. A the excitement!

I agree about the Graphic Novel. I haven't been watching the show. I watched the premiere to see who they killed and that was it. It just became a chore to watch so I stopped.

Some of the shows I watch feel like that but Walking Dead keeps me interested because of they have really captured the essence of the comic characters, like Michonne, Rickš¤ , Carl, and Negan

So I just finished Walking Dead volume 28. Spoiler here so don't read if you don't want to know.
I left wondering if the show forced this story a bit. After a mega herd, we find Andrea as one of the casualties, granted the story was good. Well done and felt touching. Which is why I love the book. So was just a thought when she died. Also man, what a character is Began. You start by fearing him, hating him and then as you finished reading this loving the guy. Wow, I never thought I would be led there when first reading about him. Well done Image.
