I was at the Warhammer store and the manager convinced me to pick up the White Dwarf. I was curious since there is a buzz about it. So I glanced through it and picked out the idea of it. I gotta say I am impressed. The Battle Report is a little dated since I prefer video but it was well done for a magazine. Some news on IP game stuff even digital games so that was interesting. What got me is the focus on the "Board" Games of Games Workshop. Such as using Terminators in Lost Patrol, that what I was hoping for and GW delivered. I believe all the latest board games got some either new mission scenario or rule add on.
The miniature that was added for free, can be used in Warhammer Quest and in the new upcoming game "GoreChosen" so that is sweet. I plan on picking up a monthly copy and staying in tune with Games Workshop. I am very excited to also build a small Deathwatch army to go with my Grey Knights.
