I am looking for up to 5 players to join the "Crimson Wraiths" in a filmed Co-Op games. You can choose to fly either an X-wing or Y-wing. Please see Co-Op thread to get link on details. It is recommended to buy your personal ship for this and so you can custom the paint scheme with your call sign. Maybe a the group can even have a universal design like "Red Tails" squadrons in the movie.
After I get one or two games filmed, I may film a regular battle report mission. That can be decided after the campaign stuff. But if their are players who do want to learn more X-wing please let us know and perhaps a Spectre can offer their services or I will do it after the campaign filming.

Just about headed out, this co-op campaign is really fun looking and excited about playing. Don't worry about being late, plenty of ships to play as players show up

Here is review of my introduction to the Co-Op campaign.
As a organizer to the event, whew! I has quite a bit of preparation for that took me quite a bit of pre-time for. Printing the material and then cutting them out took some time then getting the rules down as there is a bit of mechanic change to some elements. I think if players come in with their own models and prepped upgrades it would cut some of that time down. The Imperials weren't bad but a lot of players does mean more ships to set, squad organize, and have tracked. Familiar players to X-wing the game help with mitigating some of these duties.
Gameplay: Uh Wow! It was a lot cooler going into the fight with a scenario mission that felt like a military mission. Even the intro doesn't ask you to kill every ship. It's a bonus but it's also pushed to have all squad members survive. The enemy AI was a bit predictable but their distance made them tough to judge. What I wasn't prepared for are the specialist ships other than a Tie Fighter. The Interceptor was a tricky beast to take out and the Imperial Shuttle felt like a true tank for a bit. So the challenge was there. I like the upgrade/ experiemce mechanic giving a player a chance to make themselves something cool and helpful.
I had only a couple of players with me and one was new to the system. Which showed it's easy for a newbie as the imperials were set with choices and they have a single ship to fly instead 100 pts of a squad. I agree this is super fun and glad you recommended this to us Adam. I will try to get a filmed one up to showcase this!

Awesome. Yeah your experience with the trial run echo's ours. After the first game everyone was up to speed and the following sessions/weeks were really smooth. Can't wait to see the videos, really looking forward to it.

Another thing we found was banking XP isn't great if everyone is doing it. Found its better for the majority of pilots to use the XP they earn cause the missions def get harder. Also, we found 'sharing' the kills (i.e. making sure everyone gets some kills) and it doesn't all go to one person is important to making sure the team is doing well and not just one person is parsecs ahead (see what I did there) of everyone else on the power curve. TBH thats one of the beauties of this system is that unlike a versus campaign its a Co-op campaign so it incentivizes players to spread the wealth.

Cool, sounds a bit like a Zombicide experience to do. I did walk away feeling that. What is different to learn was when faced the Interceptor and his free focus. And the Imperials avoid stress when flying. Made them good but it all felt right. It was no upgrades on one Y-wing in the second mission I felt the squad was under power. I also didn't develop well as I was a bit out of the first fight and missed out on some experience there too. All learned though
