That does look like a really nice piece.
Kinda makes me nostalgic for all the old games of Adeptus Mechanicus and striding across the battlefield like a living god of war....

I do really like the pieces and the fluff is almost as cool as I want ti to be... The way I really see these units fitting the 40k Universe is as the Rogue Traders.... if they were a little more customizable and really gave you the feel of a Noble Trader/Explorer encountering new worlds in this mighty titan with his military backup I think that would be the coolest fluff. Then when fielding him he'd be the planetary governor in his own personal war machine. Or something like that.
