As many of my FB friends already know my sweet Corgi, Zwei, passed a couple weeks ago. I was painting this model when I got the call, so I decided to alter the paint scheme a bit. It wasn't an easy thing to do, but I am glad I did it. She will now forever be my banner carrier. Here is a pic of her face for comparison. I am glad my glazing techniques are getting well enough to do her justice.

I of course had to wolf-i-fy the model a bit. The wolf skins were made with green stuff and the fur mold from GSW. The banner came out better than I had hoped. I used some transfers to fill in the blank spots. Zwei was, of course, named after Ein from Cowboy Bebop, and being a pure bred, she needed a fancier full name. Which was Zweihander Swing.

That came out really well, and a wonderful tribute. The helmet is really well done.
