Just saw this on Beasts of War and saw it on my Table Top Game News. Really good value for a Starter Box especially with free shipping on it. The Terrain is a real plus to what other companies do. I am not really up on the back story and the models are alright. Nothing jumped at me but wanted to share/ Link to Strontium Dog Store

I don't know much about the story this based on, but I'm curious about it. It's written by Andy Chambers and Gav Thorpe and should be a pretty good game. But I don't think I could swing the box price to try it out.

Strontium Dog is a 2000 AD post-apocalyptic comics character. The comics were basically well-written Gamma World adventures with a distinctive British flair. It never really gained much popularity outside of the UK.
I actually think I have a hero-clix of him from when they had their Indy comics figs.

I didn't realize Chambers and Thorpe developed the rules. That has intrigue to it.

I've always been curious about the various characters that were in 2000 AD, but it had such narrow distribution here that I've never been able to find the old stories at a reasonable price.

The little bit of Rogue Trooper that I've read, I really liked. The one character that I've seen a couple of stories from is Nikolai Dante, and those characters, plotlines and world was really cool.

Whoa! There were a couple of Radio type dramas, that I heard a while back where Simon Pegg did the voice of the Strontium Dog. They were really fun ti hear. Gotta check this out, now.
