We I finally got the Zombicide: Black Plague whole project done & painted. I was also able to make a game night at my brother's place and we played 4 games of it. So a couple of things. I like the additional spot for your character to either be more effective as a offensive zombie killer or use it as armor and protect yourself. Although armor finding was rare. I tried a couple of guys out and saw a few more. Here in one to start with. Okay, first is Grom. He is apparently the Conan version. His 1st skill in blue is Barbarian. This was awesome. It allows him to roll a die for every zombie in his zone instead of his weapon attacks. Meaning he can clear a zone pretty quickly. Just doesn't help versus Fatties His 2nd is +1 action which is pretty standard His 3rd is either +1 damage or Shove. Shove is free to use and moves "all" zombies to an eligible zone not blocked by a wall or door. I kinda like the damage here as the Barbarian takes care of swarming of the zombies, what would you choose? Last is either +1 free melee action, +1 to dice roll melee, or Melee: Bloodlust. Bloodlust allows a 2 movement and a free melee action. Here I like the +1 to the dice on melee. Hitting more frequently is a big thing here in this game and the right weapons can make it a sure thing especially if you get a 2 damage weapon after damage upgrade. What do you think of Grom. Is a High take in Zombicide: Black Plague? Is their a better action upgrade combo you see? I will continue this thread with others so stay tuned.

He did well and having the chance to clear a zone is important as we found out. I'd go with the extra damage (now a fattie killer) and extra +1 on melee to further increase his chance of zone clearing. If you can get him and Bob (with the right spells) going, you have a better chance of moving along and clearing objectives.....just have to coral those dang Necromanagers.

Here is another character. We didn't see her in action so this will be fun to speculate her potential. Cadence Cadence starts with Marksman at blue level. The survivor may freely choose the targets of all his Magic & Ranged Actions. Misses don't hit survivors. Yellow level is the +1 action Orange level is choice from +1 die ranged or +1 free Ranged Action. Red level are +1 die combat, +1 free combat action, +1 to dice roll range So, Candence with the bow can shoot freely into any zone without worry. Very cool! I would likely lean to the free Range Action at Orange and free combat at Red. Most bow or crossbows have multiple dice to attack with. Why not shoot into several zone to lower the amount other survivors have to deal with. Also very easy to hunt a Necromancer as he can't hide from her shot. Candence should see much more play. What do you think?
