I have seen this game played at Guerilla Games. They did the Liche King campaign. I was wondering if anyone has dabbled into the rules and if it does use any miniatures from any line?

I saw a post about this on BOLS. It seemed interesting because the rules are relatively cheap and you can use whatever miniatures you have around. Sounds like a good game for short campaigns as you build up your own wizard.

I was thinking of it with my line of D&D figs. How much was usable and how easy are the rules

It was just a short overview, but the rules are apparently pretty streamlined and simple. The rulebook is also apparently only $25 and is the only thing needed other than some d20s and figures. Your D&D figs should be perfect. For a game you just need a wizard, apprentice and group of mercs that can be any figures really. Osprey Games website is under maintenance right now so I can't really check into it too much more, but will later.

You can use any figs from any line. The only other things needed are some dice, fantasy type terrain and you can make your own templates from felt or cardboard.
