A while back I kickstarted FireBucket's Tactical, Topographical, Table-Top Terrain, and I've been slowly working on them in between other painting projects.
Here's a couple shots of the works in progress.
Each tile is 12"x12", and I forget the count but I believe I have enough for a 4x5 board. (they gave me a few freebies with more order so I forget the final count ) Also pictured here are a couple of the tree planters and road horses, which are finished.

Nice. Those look really sharp. I really like the planters too.

Thanks! I pleased with how the planters came out too, now to just keep them somewhere where the trees won't fall apart.
I'll eventually post some pics of the finished tiles.

Thanks! I pleased with how the planters came out too, now to just keep them somewhere where the trees won't fall apart. Maybe a tackle/tool box with large compartments could keep the trees from getting tangled with each other and keep the trees from sliding and banging around too much when being moved.

And as promised here are the finished tiles. Well all but for the sealing. I still need to find the time and the space to do that.
This was my first test layout, 4'x5'. I may just have to get four more tiles at some point so I can do a full 4'x6' table at some point. The little "bonelock" connectors they supplied were kind of a pain to put it, but it did make the whole thing a bit more secure. I just had to leave some of them off as they just wouldn't connect well. Maybe some sanding is required, but I'm not sure I want to take the time. We'll see after I play a few games on it. Also the little layout tiles in the first pic were super handy for figuring out how to make the layout make sense.

That looks amazing! Those little connectors do seem like they'd be helpful and annoying in equal parts. But I think that those little layout tiles may be the most inspired thing I've seen in a while!

With a great board table like that you will need to get into Infinity. Thanks for the update review. I'm always looking for new table top layouts and its cool to see a different material and concept being put out there

Yeah, I kept seeing the HDF terrain kits on Ebay, but they were all across the pond. They all looked great for Necromunda type games. When I saw this one start up over here, I had to back it. Next up are the buildings and shipping crates. I actually did download the Infinity book. Gotta pour over it to see what I can do with the models I currently own.

Okay here are some pics of the shipping containers, arc pylons and rooftop air conditioner looking things.
Here's a shot of them in the dark. The Arc Pylons had space to put LEDs inside so, I used some of the throwies from the Powered Play Lightup Base KS to illuminate them. One is on, one is off.
Here's the air conditioners.
Everybody with the lights turned on.
The containers stacked.
And side by side. The doors do open and close.

That stuff looks really good! How much trouble was it to work with the wiring and such to light the pylon?

No wires, just leds, a flat battery, some rare earth magnets and a hunk of sheet metal. I'll try to remember to snap some pics of the internals. That stuff looks really good! How much trouble was it to work with the wiring and such to light the pylon?

Sure! Maybe once I get the buildings done we can shoot it all at once. I have the 12x12 mostly finished, now I just need to do the normal MBBM kits. And all the accessories, like bridges, balconies, etc. Wow those look great, well have to get you to bring them in to check them out up close, maybe get a film on it.

Okay! finally finished up the Buildings (Well I did last week, I finally got some pictures of them) I played a big game of 40k with a buddy this weekend and took the chance to put everything together. The 12x12 with an Arc Pylon on the roof. The two 6x12s stacked with a balcony. The whole setup from one side (we're old school and still play on 4x8 boards) And the other. The Cathedrals formed a nice little courtyard on the tiles. And a shot of the other end of the table, featuring my shanties, the containers and another Pegasus Hobbies modular terrain piece. I did not glue it in this shape, but I doubt I will every pull it apart to make something else. I am really pleased with the MBBMs (Modular Building, Building Modules)from Firebucket Games. The roofs come off really easily so you can move figs on through. And the number of combinations you can lay them out is pretty high. I didn't get any good shots of the 6x6 buildings, but I had one with a 6x6 roof and one with a 6x12 roof and a support column. It was a blast playing on this board and I can hardly wait to set it up differently next time.
