Here is the latest update from Micro Arts Studio. It looks like the production of the last minis is close to being finished and they'll be shipping soon. Maybe we'll see them before the end of August.
"Hi guys,
I know it's been a while since last update, but many things happened in the meantime, I took Kacper's responsibilities (concerning Kickstarter, among others) and had to get to know all the business before I could post any info here. But here we are, our team is working hard to get your goodies to you as soon as possible.
Yesterday we received a package with the last 3d prints - parts of the Giant Golem. This means that the last models (Benito, Julia, Giant Golem, Explosive Cats) are moulded right now and should be cast in a few days.
In about two weeks we should have all the models needed so we should start shipping the last Kickstarter packages. We are at least as excited about this as you, as this has been a tough year for us. But in the end all that counts is your satisfaction and we hope and believe that you will be more than happy with the quality of our products. If you have any questions or requests please send us a message. I will post next update when we will start shipping the remaining models.
Best,
Wojtek"

Awesome to hear, in line with that I will try to line up our Wolsung videos and start that up. The official filming for Spectre Studios is a month away. Sheesh! So much to do

Oh don't get me wrong, after completing things I am happy and impressed where we are. After so many rag tag terrain for 40k to think where we are on these other game systems has me super excited. I mean, come on. We have a #$*@ing bank for steampunk scenarios. So excited about playing more Wolsung

"Kickstarter Update 87 First Benito Vendetta models are here! Posted by Micro Art Studio Hi people, we recieved a package from Prodos games with 31 Benito Vendetta models. This means that 31 packages will be sent today. We still didn't get Julia Vendetta and asking Prodos about when will we get her gives us no definite answers. We really hope we will get more models this week, but until we have them we cannot be sure. We want you to get the models as soon as possible, but this time we cannot do much about it. I will keep you updated and will let you know when next models come. Best to all of you, Wojtek" I have seen a good amount of grumbling online about Prodos being really slow to deliver on their contracts. It looks like those rumors have more than a little truth to them. I guess Prodos is the newest company on the list of companies to be very careful of.

Hmmm, it also shows how sometime companies put to much belief they can deliver on all their Kickstarter perks. There always seems to be an issue either delays or worse. CMoN seems the only company that meets and exceeds the Kickstarter experience

Yeah, people often think that getting over-funded by 500% or more must have the companies swimming in money but it really only commits them to things way bigger than they originally planned. When Antenociti's Workshop did their Kickstarter for their "Forward Base" buildings they came right out and basically said "if we fund at between 100 and 200%, we'll be able to get stuff to you on time. But, be warned, if we fund at more than that it will take more time to get your product out to you." In this case, Prodos was a sub-contractor with Micro Arts Studio and had contractually agreed to get things done on time. But at the same time they did their own Kickstarter and got buried under their own success with that. Now it seems like they've put their focus on their own in-house projects and let their other obligations and communications slide.

I got another update today from MAS today. Apparently, Prodos suffered some unforeseeable technical problems and now they've gotten that sorted out and will have the outstanding figs to MAS soon.
"Kickstarter Update 88
Julia Vendetta and more Benito came to us Posted by Micro Art Studio
Hi guys,
we got another package from Prodos games with Julia Vendetta and more Benito. It means that more packages are prepared right now and will be sent next week. We also got a confirmation that all the remaining minis will come to us until the end of the week.
One more thing I would like to clarify since a lot of comments here mention Prodos Games. They are our good friends and we are happy with the quality of their service. The cast quality is excellent. The delays are not caused by their lack of professionalism, but rather some technical issues that could hardly be forseen. We are willing to cooperate with them further in the future and are convenient that our partnership will continue in a fruitful way.
That being said, we are very excited that our Kickstarter is coming to an end and all of you will soon be (hopefully!) satisfied customers. This has been a very intense year for us but thanks to all of you we are ready to take Wolsung to another level.
Best to all of you,
Wojtek"

The latest word from MAS. "Kickstarter Update 89 All the minis are here and we're ready to ship! Posted by Micro Art Studio Hi guys, right now we have all the needed minis and all your remaining packages can be shipped. We will be preparing all your wave 2 sets to be sent as soon as possible. If you have any requests, changes in address etc. please send us a message. We read all your messages but due to a very high amount of work to do right now there may be some delays in responding. Do not worry though, we are doing what we can to have your minis delivered as quickly as possible. Once again thank you for your patience and dedication. We are happy and excited that this project is finally coming to its finish. One more thing that we think you should know: we want to begin selling minis founded on Kickstarter within a month from now. If your friends, who couldn't back us on Kickstarter were waiting for this moment - it's close. The first models to be introduced to regular sale will be the ones that you all got a long time ago, so you shouldn't worry that non-backers will get their stuff before you. Remember to follow Wolsung SSG on Facebook and Twitter. Throughout recent months we prepared a lot of video content that will follow the official release of Wolsung SSG Expansion. As always, best to all of you, Wojtek"
