So April is just about here. I have been waiting for Star Wars Legion since it's announcement and I am going to get this painted so we can play. Especially having such a system my kids can enjoy. Are there players out there for it? What faction do you plan to play or are you going to play both? So this is 2 core sets. The AT-ST and Rebel Speeder. One speeder bike is missing because his head is on the way. The plan is to also get the expanded boxes which as one extra unit to the core. So 5 squads for each side, another AT-RT and 2 more speeder bikes. That should be a large enough game and the new expansions for Han, Leia, Gen. Veers, and more units are around the corner. I gotta say I am excited about the Rebel Naval Troops. Loved them since the beginning of New Hope!

Boom! I get some picks up but All those models from the first post are painted. So 2 core sets of Legion done. I did trade away my Grey Knights and scooped up the another Stormtrooper box and Speeder Bike box. That should do the 1st wave unless I grab another AT-ST and Air Speeder.
I am now going to get the Aristeia! set done. I am a big fan of Corvus Belli and this game is about to pick up steam as the 2nd expansion was announced. So got to get this done and get some games in.
If I get that done, then backed to Mythic Battle Pantheon. I have a ton of expanded boxes to this. All the gods are done but I want to add the other troops, monsters, and heroes. Boys got this game down too so it's another one that should keep me playing a lot down the road. That should be most of April's work. Happy to get Legion done in the week+. I will work on those pics!

_ _ So this is the completed Star Wars Legion models. It is 2 core sets and each of the first release expansions. I painted the Rebels in a desert theme and put some symbols from the 61st company. That's Twilight Company for you Battlefront fans. The Empire Stormtroopers I placed on clear bases so I can use them in any tabletop but was mostly eyeing space ship battles down the road.

So this is the Battlefoam set that Fabricator General won from Beasts of War. It fits the core set very well. There is a slight lift to the lid when all together but all the models fit nicely. Even the barricades, movement sticks and range sticks too.

_ _ So this is one of my Kickstarters. The Mythic Battle Pantheon. These are the core models in the box game. I simply love this set. Since I was little I have learned about Greek Gods, heroes, and monsters and fell in love with so many movies based on them. The core has the four gods here, Athena, Zeus, Ares, & Hades. I got in a couple of games with this set and you only ever need one box for a group of four to play.

_ More MBP. This 1st pic is Pablo Parente's alternative sculpts of Circe and pigs and Aphrodite. These ladies defiantly have his art allure for women and after Willow I had to have Circe and the pigs. The 2nd is Enchinda's children. Gorgon, Manitcore, and Teusaniam Wolf. These were cool. I tried out multiple glazes and washes on the Gorgon to make him slimy. Feel like it worked. The 3rd (sorry sideway pic) is Poseidon. This is a marvelous piece making him a true badass. I airbrushed the blue tentacles and also his upper torso. Was careful with the washes so not to take much of the airbrushes work out. I am very happy with this piece.

_ _ So here are some winged models from the Pandora Box Kickstarter pledge. The Griffon and some hero. (Can't remember and it's not Perseus) with the Phoenix. I did something different with this one and a shout out to Next Level Painting for this. I airbrushed most of this model from his tutorial with fire models. I feel it was very helpful and I did a table top ready take to it but his lessons did bring more to the model with that technique had I tried another way. How does it look?

So this is all of it together that is painted. Yeah, I still have many more to this game to finish. Working on the rest of Pandora's box which right now is more troop options. Now that I am off vacation this will take me longer with news of a busier work schedule to boot. I haven't added any other table top projects to my plate but that will change when the expansions for Legion become available which I heard is the end of the week. The Empire again should be quick but I think the Fleet troopers may take some work. Good news I only plan on getting multiples of the Fleet troopers. One set of Snowtroopers is enough for me.

That phoenix looks really great! Your airbrush work on it, really helps pull off the fire effect.

Why thank you sir, I was happy with it as well. I also used a technique of marble which I showed on Facebook so Next Level Painting is helpful

Next Level Painting is really helpful. I've gotten a lot of pointers from there.
