Here they are primed. The clumsiness of the duplicate parts is a little less noticeable with the primer on, but I'm sure it will really stand out more once some shading and highlighting are down.
I haven't changed my mind about the quality, I'll field this guy in some Havocs or something.

Let's take a look at those gaps between the components. __ I put some black pen into the gaps, so hopefully they show up better. These are all the effect of those variations in the castings. The pieces all look okay but the dimensions are off enough to create problems when trying to line them up. You can see a big gap between the backpack and the feed by the shoulder, a smaller gap where the shoulder part of the feed meets the main feed belt. In the pic on the right you can see a huge gap between the wrist and the hand, between where the main feed belt and the belt leading to the HB, gapping in the backpack and the way the barrel is misaligned. Looking at these pics it looks like some horrible Quasimodo model. It's good thing he's chaos marine and doesn't need to be pretty. I'm going to throw some green stuff into the gaps to smooth them out and while it will never fool anyone looking at it up close in their hand, it will most likely pass the three-foot-test when looking at it across the table.

Agree there but that still works. We paint to table top quality a little modelling of the same gets a unit up that you needed. Green stuff will help for sure. Will be interested to see further attempts
