Was checking out the shop store on Xbox and for Gold members, Blood Bowl 2 was down in price for $12.50. I have been a huge follower of this game since it was a 2nd edition board game incarnation. I would love to make a league out of this since unlike Battlefront it is a video rendition of a board game.
It plays like the older version and the races are human, ork, skaven, high elves, dark elves, dwarves, brettonians, & chaos. There is an add on for lizardmen & wood elves. Sorry looks like the goblins are gone. The other plus purchasing a team is up to current edition so humans can get a basic ogre instead of the star player.
I have already made a Brettonian & Dark Elf team so who's game?

Tempting, I loved Blood Bowl on steam, and the people I played with started to hate me when I did so well. The Xbox might slow me down enough... Hmmm....

Hmm, haven't watched the video yet. I did see an article on BoLS about new teams coming out though. It's not something I'm experienced in other than a couple games on the earlier Xbox edition. Seems cool though. Unfortunately I never renewed Xbox gold last time it expired so I would need to do that first. I've been spending all my hobby money on Infinity and Malifaux figs instead.

Having almost every player with block it almost feels that way compared to other teams. I've been rolling with a Norse team since they came out.

Hahaha, I don't doubt it.  If they were dwarves with slow movement that'd be one thing. My last steam team was Norse, and that pretty much did the league in. ^_^ |

So about a week ago, I went ahead and bought the Wood Elf team. During "real" table top play, I found it hard to have a lot of players and soul have a great thrower and several outstanding catchers.
Well I finally leveled my Treeman. They have the highest starting strength at 6 that I'm aware of. Why am I excited. Well my Treeman got a box car roll. Yup now he has 7 strength.
This blows my mind. As even a big player such as a Ogre still needs 3 other players to get an extra dice roll.
This is nuts and got me pumped to keep playing my wood elves

Oh super - a damn redwood. My chaos team has done well. Wally continues to carry the team with an average of 1 TD a game and a game high 3 TDs twice. The rest of the team is trying to round out...but that's not going too well. Had 2 die recently and several injuries have dropped stats. Might be time to retire them and start a new team.
