So we were talking after a game and Jake was right as rumors are surfacing of replacing Iron Fist from the Netflix series. There is a maybe of it turning into a movie but it appears Punisher is stealing some of that Lime Light, Also some concerns of Netflix's budget with super powers as it speculated that the mystics needed was why they are dropping it in favor of the basic grittiness of Punisher. I guess will know more when Luke Cage is closer to airing

I know what I'm talking about. Still a bit angry about it. I want to see Iron Fist get the 10 ep series treatment to get fully fleshed out.

Daredevil hit big. If AKA JJ builds off of that momentum I don't see why Netflix wouldn't have the money needed as they would get it back. Guess we'll see.

Last I read they were averaging $3.3 million per episode so they are pretty costly already.

Also realize that the set would start different where all the other series is in hell's kitchen

True. If Netflix wants to stay specific then staying in that local limits their use of heroes/villains. Either way, I like what they have done with DD and am anxious to see how well AKA JJ does. As of now, I am not overwhelmed with the amount of superhero content on TV and there is a lot!

Just the ones we know. Luke Cage comes out September 30 and they are filming Ironfist now. Punisher was just so good in DD that they had to add it to the lineup.
