We might not know each other yet. But if you drink in any low-class human tavern, bar or watering hole in town, we've probably been in the same room together. I don't particularly care about keeping the shiny things that I liberate, getting the stuff is the important part.
An elf playing cards, laughing and partying hard in a human dive bar isn't hard to spot. If you talk about questing for your axe around town. I'll probably approach you. Do you have any idea where it might have gone?

We can work that in. My dude is always frequently at a party atmosphere and isn't above anyone to drink with 😄

It looks like my concept is zeroing in on an Moon Elf Warlock urban bounty hunter, so someone who works the higher society crowds to learn about thefts and vendettas and then delves into the seedy underbelly to blend in and hunt.

Hmmm a very dark character for you Matt. I am unsure how I would hangout with you. I am sure we could have crossed paths during your "hunts " but collecting money on people is not a happy thought for Brom

Just as a FYI.... Forge of Fury is kind of an old-school wilderness/dungeon treasure hunt.
I'm running it as kind of a palate-cleanse after Strahd...This won't be a high-intrigue couple of sessions.
Keep that in mind when making characters.
I'd like you to make sure that your pcs have a reason to be there and be part of a group.. Your characters should be working together because they actually respect each other's skills and possibly -gasp- even like each other!

I haven't really developed a personality yet, but I don't see him so much "dark" as "cunning" and being a social info gatherer. Urban Bounty hunter is a profession, with a skill set of hunting and finding info so I don't see him as non-capable outside the city, but maybe not as comfortable. At least to start. So far one of our party members is in search of something, presumably someone has that something and helping to find that person would fall into my wheelhouse.
((Ok, edit to this thread..... maybe he is getting darker as I look at his level up options.))

Me and Art tossed around the idea of maybe doing Indiana Jones as a mage/wizard archaeologist, and his partner.

Would that be such a bad thing? LOL
It was just an idea I had that would fit in. A mage that is a treasure hunter and seeker of ancient artifacts and Lore. And his 'assistant'.

That would totally fit in with where we are and what we are doing right now!

Cool, glad the idea popped into my head.
When are you planning on doing the next game?
