What better way to start a TWD thread than with news that Negan has been cast for the show. If you have read the comics than you know who this guy is. Check the website under the news section to see who gets to take on what should be an iconic role for the series. This should make the Governor look like a pacifist. www.Spectrestudios.us

Also - Let the debate begin....is Glenn Dead or Alive? We have seen the series stray from the comics so is that the case here or did he crawl under the dumpster while Nicolas was getting his guts ripped out?

Jeffrey Dean Morgan is a good choice for Negan. Can't wait to see that crazy fucker on the screen. Hopefully they don't tone him down too much.

They'll have to tone him down as far as language, but not necessarily for actions as the show is pretty gruesome at times. I agree that JDM is a great choice and I think he will nail the role.

Glen is alive. It just makes his work on Nicholas that much more important. Besides the fans may lose their shit if Negan doesn't do Glen and that incident makes Maggie who she is later

So AMC is trying to push viewers to their Into the Badlands show....they threw in a Walking Dead teaser. It's on the front page of our website if you missed it. www.Spectrestudios.us

Just read an article that stated that Walked Dead was originally shopped to HBO with Thomas Jane slated as the lead Rick Grimes. OMG! Can you imagine how much better and closer to the comics this show would of been had HBO picked it up!!!!! DANG IT!

The only thing could have been the characters sporting the injuries they have in the comics but i don't believe the story would have been much different. I had heard Kirkman wanted the show to have differences and be an almost what if this happen on the show so fans couldn't predict what would happen next

They would be able to play Negan closer to the comics than they will be able to on AMC.

Yeah, pretty awesome. Glen looking at that wall of pictures was a great shot.

It's gearing up to be a slobberknocker for sure! Can't wait for their portrayal of Neegan.

Well - Jeffery Dean Morgan is definitely going to portray Negan like a pro. I'm truly stoked for him being cast. That said....the finale was less than satisfying. 1 1/2 long episode for that? I think it could of stayed at 1 hr long and would of been fine. And the cliff hanger? I guess if your only a fan of the show it's a huge WTF???...if you read the comics, then it's probably going to be less than spectacular. Overall, disappointed in the finale.....

I feel as a fan of comics it was still good and satisfying. We saw the intro of the fourth community and with the character dynamics there had to be something's ironed out. As a season, I was surprised to see Abraham last to the finale. Also Maggie and Glen needed the other girl because they don't have Sophia. I am pleased with Rick and Michonne relationship and the end was a huge show of force by Negan which had to have his language toned down. But it's still TV and showing a real person's head split open would devastate viewers. I still remember the image in the book. Not a end as to like the prison but remember that was the intro to Negan in the book

Spoiler Alert from here!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
So after so much speculation I was surprised no one else had this posted yet. Of course this is about the new season and who Negan bashes with Luicelle. A few of us were talking the day before and it was funny that we had mentioned Abraham as a potential victim. When he was getting hit as we talked about it was a little underwhelming but later looking back on it, it was a better death than he got in the comics. Then he did the classic scene from the comics and killed Glen. So wow there. I loved the scene and it was well done. Very excited to see the theme of "All Out War" being played out this season.
